Description | Job Requirements:
- Hold a Master's degree in the area of Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certified preferred
- Positive role model for children
- Hard working
- Knowledgeable about IEP development and paperwork
- Enthusiastic, organized, flexible/ability to manage a full caseload of students
- Desire to see ALL students learn and succeed
- Willingness to complete all job requirements per KDE and DCPS
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a therapeutic program to meet individual needs of speech and language impaired children
- Assist in guiding teachers in observing, describing, referring and identifying students with speech and language impairments
- Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement
- Work with students with Autism and Multiple Disabilities
- Keep ongoing records for the individual student receiving school-based speech therapy
- Be familiar with and incorporate the use of technology in daily tasks and therapy
- Adhere to the professional code of ethics

- Position may be at multiple schools/locations
- Salary based on Rank and Experience
