QUALIFICATIONS:

TO APPLY FOR A BUS MONITOR POSITION YOU MUST BE A DCPS TRANSPORTATION EMPLOYEE.


1.High School diploma or G.E.D.

2.Some positions in this class may be required to learn basic sign language.

3.Must meet the requirements of a criminal record check as specified by Kentucky State Law.

4.Must meet health requirements as specified in district personnel policy.

JOB GOAL:

To ride a school bus for exceptional children and assist the school bus driver in maintaining discipline while the bus is in operation; to operate mechanical lift.

REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation.
